A SIMPLE COCKTAIL FOR VALENTINE'S DAY

We can’t spice up your love life*, but we can spice up yer bubbles.
Created by Ashleigh, the amazing bar manager at 28 Well Hung in London, this spritz-cum-champagne-cocktail hybrid is extremely simple to pull together, even at the last minute.
Just add 10ml (2 x tsp) of Whisky Amaro to any dry, clean frizzante or crémant the same way your mum does with Chambord. The result is a weird, fruity, slightly spicy/smoky love potion that’s guaranteed to get the blood pumping.

We’ve pushed the boat out and made ours with Crémant de Loire 2016 from Jacques Antoine Toublanc, which we picked up on our last jaunt to Mistral in Leith, Edinburgh.
But if you’re feeling cheap and dirty, don’t fret. Lidl’s budget crémant also does a solid job for under a tenner.
*This hasn’t been tested to be fair
